WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) -Another stretch of hot temperatures and active weather is on the horizon for this weekend. Today, highs near 98 and feels like temps near or over 102 are possible. There will be plenty of dry time today but scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop late in the afternoon.
Temperatures will be in the middle to upper 80s for Sunday and Monday but the unsettled pattern will continue with daily chances of showers and storms in the afternoon hours.
