Novant NHRMC receives fourth consecutive ‘C’ grade on hospital safety

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A new report from a national hospital watchdog shows mixed health and safety results for hospitals in southeastern North Carolina.

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center saw its grade improve from a “B” to an “A” in the latest hospital safety grades from The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit watchdog.

Two other area hospitals, Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHNHRMC) and Columbus Regional Health Care System, did not show improvements and kept “C” grades…
