WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Grab the rain gear! Rain and storms will bring much needed rain to the Lower Cape Fear Region Thursday. Locally moderate to heavy downpours along with gusty winds will come in waves, in the morning, afternoon and early evening ahead of a cold front. Highs will slide back to the 70s Thursday, with cooler 60s and 70s Friday.
