Investigators probe possible link between two southeastern NC pharmacy robberies

SOUTHEASTERN N.C. (WECT) – Two pharmacies in southeastern North Carolina were robbed within about an hour of each other early Tuesday and investigators believe the break-ins may be connected.

Pender County Sheriff Alan Cutler said Rocky Point Pavilion Pharmacy was the first pharmacy targeted, with a suspect breaking in around 3:30 a.m. May 5. Cutler said he could not confirm what was stolen, how much was taken or the value of the items.

About an hour later, at 4:30 a.m., a manager at Galloway Sands Pharmacy in Supply confirmed that business was also robbed. The manager said staff are still working to determine what was stolen…
