Donald Halsing, a wedding photographer from Massachusetts, is slowly recovering after he was stabbed during a wedding reception in Maine that both he and his fiancée were hired to shoot. “This was a very frightening experience and it’s hard to put it into words. A lot of people don’t expect to get stabbed, especially if you are a wedding photographer,” Halsing said.
It all unfolded last weekend at the Kingsley Pines Campground in Raymond, Maine. Both he and his fiancée, Ashley Wall, have a wedding photography business together. He says he was standing near the stage with the DJ when a member of the wedding party stabbed him with a pocketknife.
