WRENTHAM, Mass. (WJAR) — A judge has sentenced a man to four to seven years in prison for the fatal shooting of his neighbor last June in Worcester, drawing fierce backlash from the victim’s family after a grand jury downgraded the original murder charge to manslaughter.
Enrique Antonio Canales-Martinez was sentenced following the June 2025 death of Jason Mayhew, a husband and father of two from Wrentham.
