Trail of stolen cigarettes in Vt. led police to NH armed robbery suspects

HINSDALE, N.H. (WCAX) – A trail of stolen cigarettes dropped on Interstate 91 in Vermont helped federal authorities track down two men accused of an armed robbery at a New Hampshire store.

A federal grand jury in New Hampshire indicted Richard Conner, 64, of Greenfield, Massachusetts, and James Ferguson, 66, of Worcester, Massachusetts, on a charge of conspiracy to commit armed robbery in the crime.
