A GoFundMe account has been started for the residents displaced by a fire in Gardner on the Fourth of July.
Firefighters responded to a reported housefire at 171 Regan St. just before 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, according to Fire Chief Greg Lagoy. The first firefighters on scene saw heavy smoke showing from the front of the single-family home and immediately struck a second alarm to bring off-duty Gardner firefighters and mutual aid companies to the scene.
