A 15-year veteran of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office has been promoted to one of the agency’s senior leadership positions.
Sheriff Lew Evangelidis announced that Adam Richard of Charlton has been promoted to captain at the Worcester County Jail and House of Correction, where he will oversee correctional staff and the day-to-day operation of the county correctional facility.
Richard joined the Sheriff’s Office in 2011 and has steadily advanced through the agency’s ranks. He was promoted to sergeant in 2017 and lieutenant in 2021 before earning his latest promotion…
