Milford MA first responders make two rescues July 19 in wooded areas

It was a busy Sunday on July 19 for the Milford Fire Department’s utility terrain vehicle (UTV).

Firefighters had to use it to conduct two separate rescues that day in wooden areas, according to Chief Mark Nelson.

The first incident occurred at 10:49 a.m. on a bike trail off Cedar Street (Route 85) and the second occurred at 7:04 p.m. at a quarry near Shadowbrook Lane. Firefighters, police and paramedics responded to both incidents, Nelson said…
