After several days of unsettled weather, Massachusetts is set for a mainly dry and comfortable Wednesday before showers and thunderstorms move back into the region late at night.
High pressure will keep conditions mostly dry, with afternoon temperatures reaching the upper 60s to mid-70s. Skies will be partly cloudy across much of the state, though Western Massachusetts is expected to remain mostly cloudy. Patchy morning fog is possible in parts of Central and Western Massachusetts, including Worcester and Springfield.
The next round of wet weather arrives Wednesday night as a weather system approaches from Canada.
