A Massachusetts gun owner spent roughly two and a half years facing the possibility of an extraordinary prison sentence after investigators traced years of online firearm-related purchases to him, searched his home and charged him with dozens of gun offenses.
Gun-rights commentator Liberty Doll covered the case of Scott LaPanne, an East Falmouth man whose home was searched in February 2024 after a multi-agency investigation involving Massachusetts State Police, Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
