It’s been a busy week in the lottery world after the largest jackpot in Megabucks history was won and the second-largest prize so far in 2026 was claimed.
The $29.71 million Megabucks ticket, which is also the largest prize won or claimed so far in 2026, was won during a Sept. 7 drawing which had the winning numbers 21, 28, 31, 34 and 40, according to Massachusetts State Lottery officials.
