A man from Western Massachusetts who won $25,000 a year for life during an August 2025 drawing of the discontinued “Lucky for Life” game has finally come forward to claim his prize.
Craig Hoctor, of Westfield, won $25,000 a year for life in the “Lucky for Life” drawing held Aug. 22, 2025. The ticket he bought at Circle K, located at 1400 Russell Rd. in Westfield, matched the first five numbers drawn.
Hoctor finally came forward to claim his prize on Wednesday, at Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Boston. He chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $390,000 before taxes, telling lottery officials he planned to use the money for retirement…
