200 employees face layoffs and facility closes as federal cuts threaten Mass. healthcare

As Massachusetts grapples with federal funding cuts, three behavioral health agencies are cutting a combined 200 jobs this summer — and one is closing permanently, state WARN Act filings show.

Community Counseling of Bristol County, Community Healthlink and Innovative Care Partners all filed layoff notices with the state carrying the same beginning date of June 30, 2026.

All three are designated MassHealth Behavioral Health Community Partners — state-contracted organizations that coordinate care for MassHealth members with serious mental illness and substance use disorders.
