H-E-B issues ‘self-imposed pause’ on curbside, delivery service ahead of Fourth of July rush

SAN ANTONIO — H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery services are down as of Thursday afternoon.

The San Antonio-based grocery chain, which has locations all across Texas, said it has issued a “self-imposed pause” on all Curbside and Home Delivery orders. The reason for the pause is unclear, but the retailer said it is not related to a software crash or security breach.

H-E-B officials said they are communicating with impacted customers and expect to have the issue resolved shortly. They did not provide a timeframe for the pause, but social media users are reporting the system is allowing them to book in advance starting July 9…
