SAN ANTONIO — Authorities are searching for a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing after leaving a federally contracted children’s shelter near Loop 410 near Zarzamora on San Antonio’s South Side, according to information shared by investigative journalist Yami Virgin.
The teen, identified as Luis Fernando Alba Parra, has been in federal custody for the past 10 months while his family in Dallas, who are U.S. citizens, has been working to gain custody of him.
