BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man who faced attempted murder charges in the stabbing of four family members in 2023 was ordered sent to a state hospital on Wednesday after being found not competent to stand trial, according to prosecutors.
Daniel Keith Johnson was committed to a mental health hospital for a maximum two-year term while efforts are made to restore him to competency.
