Tickets for the Boone County Fair are now on sale.
Admission and reserved grandstand show tickets will be available from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Boone County Fairgrounds Ticket Office, located at 8847 Route 76, Belvidere, according to a community announcement.
The fair will run Aug. 11-16, featuring six days of family entertainment and celebrating America’s 250th birthday with the theme, “Stars, Stripes & Fair Delights!”
Two new professional rodeo events this year
New to the fair this year are two fully sanctioned D&D Professional Rodeos on Aug. 15, at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Produced by D&D Pro Rodeo Company, both performances are part of the 2026 North American Shoot Out competition and will feature eight events, including bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding and bull riding…
