1 hurt in shooting on Rhode Island Street

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One man was hurt in a shooting on Rhode Island Street early Friday morning, according to Buffalo police.

Police responded around 4:30 a.m. to the 200 block of Rhode Island, near West Avenue and Plymouth Avenue. The man was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen. He was transported to ECMC to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
