Woman sentenced in Boone Co. crash that killed pregnant Rockford woman

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A Rockford woman was sentenced Thursday in connection to a 2025 crash that claimed the life of 24-year-old Whitney Camp.

Brooklyn Pierre, 21, was given 24 months of court supervision and had to pay a fine for the charge of an improper left turn, according to online court records.

The crash happened June 10, 2025, at the intersection of Spring Creek and Shaw roads in the Belvidere Township.
