CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Electrical work is taking place across Charleston Housing Authority properties to address power spikes caused by increased summer demand.
In a statement Thursday, the housing authority said it is working with Dominion Energy and licensed contractors to address homes that are experiencing “electrical power spikes,” which they attributed to higher electrical demand during the peak summer months,
“Residents whose homes are affected will be contacted directly. Most repairs are completed the same day,” CHA said…
