(FOX40.COM) — A man was arrested in Modesto on Monday after allegedly completing a trifecta of road violations: harassing another driver, leading officers on a chase and driving without a license, the California Highway Patrol said.
Officers in Modesto responded to a 911 call about a driver “harassing another motorist” on the road. When officers found the reported vehicle, the driver attempted to evade an enforcement stop and led them on a pursuit, CHP said.
Officers took the suspect into custody after the pursuit ended in “a safe conclusion,” CHP said. The driver’s vehicle was impounded for 30 days after officers learned the driver was unlicensed on top of his earlier antics.
CHP encouraged drivers who see aggressive or reckless drivers not to engage, but instead “create distance, stay calm and call 911 if the behavior poses an immediate danger.”…
