Don Pedro, CA — A three-year-old girl from Modesto tragically drowned at the Fleming Meadows Lagoon at Lake Don Pedro.
It happened at around 3:30 on Saturday afternoon. The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that she was first reported as missing, and as deputies were responding, she was located, and CPR was initiated by bystanders.
Members of the sheriff’s office boat patrol were in the area, and the deputies arrived and took over the life-saving efforts. Despite the quick response of bystanders, deputies, fire personnel, and medics, the child could not be revived and was pronounced deceased…
