With 20 years behind it, The Fray is rediscovering what it means to be a band.
The Colorado-based pop-rock act — which includes new lead singer Joe King, drummer Joe Wysocki and guitarist Dave Welsh — returned to the road recently in support of its album, “A Light That Waits.” The itinerary includes a co-headlining gig with Dashboard Confessional on Monday, July 27, at Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix. (Former singer Isaac Slade stepped down to prioritize his family.)
