AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) – The jury trial for a Barberton man charged in a deadly domestic dispute shooting at a Barberton intersection, is scheduled to begin Thursday in Summit County Court of Common Pleas.
Justice Oney was indicted on the charges of murder, felonious assault, and abduction for the April 14 shooting.
Barberton police said Oney fatally shot Nathan Flight, 25, of Canton, around 1:30 a.m. on April 14, 2025 at the intersection of E. Paige Avenue and 3rd Street NE.
