Medina street staff has eliminated five parking spaces in square

MEDINA, Ohio – While discussions continue regarding solutions to make the square safer for pedestrians and motorists alike, the city’s street department has completed the marking off of a handful of parking spaces in the area.

“The efforts are continuing with the dialogue on what to change there further, but that work has been completed,” Service Director Nino Picolli said during a July 13 council meeting.

City officials had discussed the removal of the five parking spaces back in June in an effort to create a positive impact on safety around the square…
