CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating two overnight homicides that occurred within minutes of each other.
Both shootings reportedly happened shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday, one in Uptown and the other in north Charlotte.
In Uptown, officers responded to a robbery call at the intersection of E. 5th Street and N. McDowell Street. According to CMPD, when they arrived, they encountered a two-vehicle crash.
