Jersey’s Slap Burger Smashes Into Richardson’s Arabian Village With Late-Night Halal Menu

Richardson is getting a new late-night burger destination, and this one brings a distinctly Northeast-style menu. Slap Burger plans to open its first Texas location in the city by Christmas, adding smash burgers, loaded chicken, cheese fries and banana pudding to the Arabian Village lineup.

The New Jersey-founded chain is taking over a former CBD shop at 888 S. Greenville Ave., where construction is already underway. According to CultureMap Dallas, the Richardson restaurant will be Slap Burger’s first foothold in Texas after expanding through New Jersey, New York and Florida.

Slap Burger’s official site shows a growing footprint that includes locations in Paterson and Clifton, New Jersey; several New York City neighborhoods; Cherry Hill; and Tampa. The company describes its menu as a mix of smashed burgers, chicken sandwiches, platters, sides, specialty lemonades and milkshakes.
