PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Firefighters battling wildfires across Oregon will face hot, dry, and windy conditions through the day and into tomorrow, which will likely kick up activity in the fires burning across the state.
The National Weather Service of Portland issued a Red Flag Warning through Wednesday evening for the Columbia River Gorge and part of Southwest Oregon, including the Umpqua and Western Klamath National Forests.
State officials say any fires that break out will likely spread rapidly.
