BATON ROUGE – A Texas man was arrested for allegedly collecting Louisiana retirement funds on behalf of his mother for nearly two years after she died.
The Louisiana attorney general’s office said 48-year-old Mansa Dwayne Dyer of Houston did not tell the Louisiana State Employees Retirement System that his mother died. He’s accused of collecting her retirement benefits for 23 months, a total of $43,000, after she passed away…
