OKLAHOMA – Louisiana State University is refuting claims that recently convicted rapist Jesse Butler is attending its institution.
Butler was convicted of sexually assaulting two high school students. He pled no contest to sexual battery and assault charges in 2025, but a Payne County judge granted him youthful offender status and placed on probation, avoiding jail time.
His criminal case was dismissed on his 19th birthday this week after court officials ruled he successfully completed his court-ordered rehabilitation program without violations.
Several social media posts have since gone viral claiming Butler had plans to attend Louisiana State University in the fall…
