A driver died after a Linn County deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation at Williams Boulevard and East Southview Road at 9:13 p.m. Aug. 8, according to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the vehicle did not stop and the deputy began a pursuit.
