DENVER (KDVR) — A Denver ice cream shop owner says a man threw rocks through his building’s windows and a glass door early Friday morning.
Surveillance video from Nuggs Ice Cream shows a man in a purple shirt walking into the parking lot and throwing a rock at the business. When his first attempt fails, he throws a second rock, which goes through the ice cream shop’s glass door. The video then shows the man picking up the first rock again, and preparing to throw it.
“It’s violating, you know? My first initial feeling was anger,” said Nick O’Sullivan, co-owner of Nuggs Ice Cream.

O’Sullivan and his brother opened Nuggs Ice Cream on the corner of East Colfax Avenue and Filbert Court about 12 years ago. He calls the business their passion project and said it is difficult to see someone try to damage it.
“I don’t think he was targeting us. I think he just saw big windows and thought it would be a good idea at the time,” O’Sullivan said. “So just a crazy random act of violence unfortunately.”…
