Two major road closures are scheduled in Lehigh County this month as PennDOT contractors continue work on construction and bridge replacement projects.
Route 145 North/Susquehanna Street in Allentown will be closed between Fifth Street and Brookdale Road from now through Friday, Aug. 14. The 24-hour closure is related to the ongoing Route 145 construction project. Traffic will be detoured using Fourth Street and Auburn Road.
In Whitehall Township, the Route 329/Cementon Bridge between Second Street and Main Street will be closed for a weekend in late August. The closure runs from 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, through 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, as part of a bridge replacement project.
