The Lee County Sheriff’s Office last week arrested 27-year-old Christina G. Payton of Creston, an athletic trainer at Indian Creek High School in Shabbona over allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a student.
Payton is charged with multiple counts of official misconduct and distribution of harmful material to a minor.
