According to Honolulu Police, District 3 officers were called to the parking lot after reports of gunfire breaking out amid a large fight. During the altercation, the unknown male reportedly fired multiple rounds before fleeing the scene, and a vehicle nearby was damaged by the shots. As of Monday, no arrests had been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The parking lot sits at Puuwai Momi, a 260-unit federal public housing development managed by the Hawaii Public Housing Authority along Kohomua Street in the Halawa-Aiea area, not far from the Aloha Stadium site.
