Thunderstorms are possible across New York Tuesday, with a separate storm threat emerging Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service office in Upton, N.Y., warns that atmospheric conditions Tuesday afternoon could bring the potential for thunderstorms mainly affecting western parts of the New York City area.
