VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Following a contentious and lengthy public hearing, Virginia Beach City Council voted 9-2 Tuesday night to approve the sale of the Virginia Beach National Golf Club to the Dragas Companies.
Council held a public hearing on the proposal, which involves transferring the 300-acre, 18-hole course, as well as roughly 50 additional acres of city farmland, to a group led by the Virginia Beach-based Dragas Companies.
