ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Although a majority of town- and citywide yard sales happen in the spring, some areas around the Capital Region plan to clear out their homes in the fall before winter’s arrival. For thrifty treasure seekers, there are a handful of upcoming local garage sales.

Dutchess County
Pawling
The 31st Annual Pawling Community-Wide Garage Sale is Saturday, September 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Pawling Chamber of Commerce sponsors the community sale, and they will have a map of locations in the coming weeks on their social media.
Rensselaer County
East Greenbush
The town-wide garage sale in East Greenbush is the first weekend of September, on September 4, 5, and 6.
Sand Lake
The Sand Lake Business Association announced in a social media post that the Sand Lake Town-Wide Garage Sale and Flea Market is fast approaching. The sale and market are September 19 and 20, with the flea market corral only open on September 19 at Westfall Village on Route 43.
Schoharie County
Schoharie
Schoharie’s Village-Wide Garage Sale is September 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the village.
Seward
Seward’s Town-Wide Yard Sale is August 29.
Warren and Washington Counties
Hadley
Hadley’s Town-Wide Garage Sale is August 14, 15, and 16 throughout the town. Maps of locations participating in the sale can be found at the Town Hall building.
Warrensburg
The World’s Largest Garage Sale in Warrensburg is October 2, 3, and 4. Anyone interested in registering their residential, street, or merchant sales, in addition to food vendor applications, can do so online. The Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce sponsors the sale.
Whitehall
Whitehall’s Town-Wide Yard Sale is Saturday, September 5 through 7 in town and at the Elks baseball field off of County Route 12.
