NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Nearly 3,000 customers lost power Thursday morning in Norfolk following a utility trailer hitting a pole.
In addition to knocking out power, the crash also closed traffic.
Officers responded to the report of a single-vehicle crash involving a power pole in the 6200 block of Tidewater Drive at approximately 8:30 a.m. Police were advised by the driver of a tractor-trailer that the trailer became unhitched from the truck and hit a power pole.
