DENVER (KDVR) – A flight out of Denver International Airport was delayed on Thursday after the crew said a live bullet was found on the airplane.
An on-board announcement told passengers that during routine checks before taxiing to the runway, a bullet was found. A member of the FOX31 news team was on the flight, capturing an audio recording.
“The bad news is we found a live round, a bullet on the airplane,” the speaker said. “This is a security breach here, and everybody is going to have to deplane.”

The announcement also said that bags would have to be taken off the plane and that the plane would need to be swept, with the crew awaiting supervisors and the TSA.
“We need everybody to deplane the aircraft with your carry-on bags. We’re going to have to carry out a security sweep of the aircraft after the plane is empty,” the speaker said. “We apologize for this.”…
