When the 1,400 or so Beaverton High School students return to classes this year, they won’t only be gearing up for a new year of learning; they also will have to navigate a new building.
The expansive, 290,000-square foot facility whose length stretches an entire block along Southwest Farmington Road will welcome freshmen Aug. 25 and sophomores through seniors Aug. 26.
“The building construction was almost two years,” Beaverton School District Administrator for Facilities Development Aaron Boyle said during a tour earlier in August. “And then we have one more year to finish the site work and parking lots.”…
