ROCKFORD — A Victorian-era home on the former Village Green property along North Main Street will be converted into a rental option for traveling professionals under the new vision of the owners of the property.
The 150-year-old two-story house at 2520 N. Main St. and the former retail addition behind it would be converted into 20 single-room bedrooms with a shared kitchen, multiple shared bathrooms and shared common spaces under preliminary designs from Place Foundry, a Rockford-based development and architectural firm that’s working with the owners.
