In an Aug. 13 message, Superintendent Dave Parker reached out to parents and community members in the Newberg-Dundee school district with a simple message: preparations are being made for the Aug. 31 start of school, and staff is scrambling to be ready.
“Buildings are being prepared, staff are returning and our focus is on starting the year strong for every student,” he said.
