YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Parts of Eastern York High School’s roof were heavily damaged during Thursday afternoon’s storms.
Photos posted on Facebook and shared with abc27 show debris and pieces of the roof around the school, located at 720 Cool Creek Road in Wrightsville, in the parking lot and on the grass. Parts of the roof appear to have been blown off.
Assistant Superintendent for Eastern York School District said parts of the roof were “significantly” damaged and staff is on site assessing the situation.
