BATON ROUGE — A joint investigation between the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration led to the arrest of a man identified as a kilogram-level drug trafficker in the Valley Park area.
During August, agents spent extensive hours watching Lashalln Lagarde, also known as “Yoda,” conduct what they described as numerous large-quantity drug transactions. Agents identified four locations Lagarde used to run his operation.
