SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Events all across the state on Saturday were held to fight Parkinson’s disease and help local efforts right here in South Dakota.
The “Step Big Walk for Parkinson’s” is put on by the South Dakota Parkinson’s Foundation, with events in Sioux Falls, Rapid City, Brookings, Watertown, Yankton, and people could even get involved virtually.
Executive Director Katlin Johnson said between all of the locations for Saturday’s walk, around 600 people participated, and exercise is one of the best ways to fight the disease…
