New Café, Private Dining Room, and Redesigned Lobby Bring Fresh Energy to the Wilmington Landmark
One of Wilmington’s most recognizable landmarks is entering a new chapter while keeping its century-old history firmly in view.
HOTEL DU PONT is rolling out a series of updates that combine the property’s historic character with a more contemporary approach to hospitality. The changes include the opening of Spark’d Creative Pastry + Coffee, a new private dining room featuring rare artwork tied to the du Pont family, and a reimagined hotel lobby scheduled to debut this fall.
A Sweet Homecoming
The opening of Spark’d Creative Pastry + Coffee is something of a homecoming for Executive Chef Leah Ferrara, who began her culinary career at HOTEL DU PONT.
