EWA BEACH, Hawaii (Island News) — A 35-year-old man on a moped suffered a life-threatening injury following a collision in Ewa Beach on Thursday afternoon.
The collision happened at around 2:26 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 91-1010 Geiger Rd. near the Honouliuli Wastewater Treatement Plant. Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) treated a 35-year-old moped driver for a head injury after he collided with another vehicle.
The man was taken to an emergency room in critical condition by ambulance. EMS said he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision…
